Changsha‘s 4 newly built subway development progress 4 line is expected to run at the end of the year.

At present, the construction of Line 3 is advancing in an all-round way. Among the 25 stations on the line, 21 stations have been constructed and 4 stations have been constructed. The section has completed 43.21 km, 11 sections have been connected by two lines and 2 sections have been connected by one line. Station electrical and mechanical systems have been launched.

The construction of Line 4 has entered the stage of full-scale sprint. Among the 25 stations, 23 stations have completed the main structure and 2 stations have carried out the main construction; the section has basically been completed; the main track has completed 58.8 kilometers; the vehicles have completed 29 production lines; the mechanical and electrical equipment, system and decoration of 23 stations have been fully launched; and the power supply of the whole line has been 20. The two stage of the EMU commissioning consists of 8 stations and 6 intervals.

The construction of Line 5 is advancing in an all-round way. Of the 18 stations on the whole line, 17 stations have been completed and 1 station has been constructed. The section has completed 28.37 km, 12 sections have been connected by two lines and 1 section has been connected by one line.

The construction of Line 6 has been fully laid out. 34 stations have been set up along the line, which are divided into three sections: 23 stations in the middle, 7 stations in the East and 4 stations in the west. The main construction of 19 stations is carried out, and shield construction is carried out in Fulie section. Construction preparations are being made at the stations in the East and West sections.

 It is reported that the Third Phase Construction Plan of Changsha Urban Rail Transit (2017-2022) has been approved by the National Development and Reform Commission on March 15, 2017. The scale of the project is about 122 kilometers. The construction contents are: Line 6, Line 7, Line 1, Line 2, Line 4 and Line 5. Extension and South extension.
