New news about Nanjing Metro Construction: Phase III EIA of Line 6 and Line 3 was approved

       There is new news about the construction of Nanjing metro: the third phase of EIA of Metro Line 6 and 3 has been approved. Nanjing Eco-environment Bureau has recently officially approved the environmental assessment of Line 3, Phase 3 and Line 6.
       According to the latest EIA, Nanjing Metro Line 6 is scheduled to start construction in the first half of 2019 with a total construction period of 54 months. Line 6 in series with Heimoying, Zijinshan, Guanghua Gate and Southern New Town will effectively alleviate the traffic pressure in the urban center of Nanjing. It is noteworthy that Metro Line 6 will be merged with S1 into a large airport line in the future. Xiaojiao Road is from Wanshou Village to the airport, and Dajiao Road is from Qixia Mountain to the east of the airport. In the future, Metro Line 6 will become an ultra-long line connecting Lukou Airport and Qixia Mountain.
       The total construction period of the third phase of Metro Line 3 is from June 1, 2019 to August 30, 2022, and it is planned to open to traffic at the end of November 2022.
