Recently,gaojiao road station and north railway station of automobile (the name of the project site) of hangzhou-fuyang subway station started to use two sets of shield construction, which marked that hangzhou-fuyang subway officially entered the tunnel excavation stage.

The shield machines used in fuyang are electrically driven and do not require blasting or internal combustion engines. This construction method eliminates both the dust and noise that may be generated during blasting, as well as the noise and exhaust gas generated by the rumbling internal combustion engine, so that the pedestrian on the ground will not feel the underground vibration and will not hear the noise.

Shield tunneling work on the fuyang section of the hangzhou-fu subway will be fully opened by June this year, with 16.8 kilometers of underground tunnels dug. According to the schedule of the project, it is expected to complete the main construction by June 2020, and then move to the 6-month subsidiary project construction stage.
