Lanzhou metro technique of crossing the Yellow River won national awards

On April 1, the reporter learned from the municipal rail transit co., ltd. that recently, the "lanzhou subway tunnel under the Yellow River strong permeable egg drift stone stratum key technology research" declared by the company won the second prize of urban rail transit science and technology progress award of China urban rail transit association.This project was jointly carried out by the municipal railway corporation, the first institute of China railway, the 14th bureau of China railway and the 16th bureau of China railway in December 2016. The project was carried out by relying on the first phase of lanzhou rail transit line 1 to construct the tunnel under the Yellow River. 

The geological conditions of the tunnel are complex, and the continuous long distance tunneling with shield tunneling is used in the stratum of high water pressure, strong water permeability, large particles and high hardness sand and pebble. Through field research, data collection, experimental research, simulation analysis and other methods, the project team systematically sorted out the key construction technology of lanzhou rail transit through the Yellow River, and provided a scientific basis and design standards for the subsequent similar Yellow River project.

Previously, the achievements of the project "research on key technologies of lanzhou subway tunnel going through the Yellow River's strongly permeable egg and drift stone stratum" also passed the evaluation of scientific and technological achievements organized by gansu provincial science and technology development promotion center.
