Twelve shield tunneling machine work at the same time on Wuhan line 5

Recently, a shield tunneling machine was successfully launched on the left line between sanjiao road station and xujiapeng station area of wuhan metro line 5 under construction. The number of shield tunneling machines across the line has reached 12, making line 5 the project with the largest number of underground shield tunneling machines among all the lines under construction.

On April 22, the fifth branch of the general party branch of wuhan metro construction, together with the party branch of China railway first group urban rail corporation, organized and carried out the theme party day activity of "raising the party banner, building the subway, and welcoming the military transport brand" to improve the quality and consolidate the theme.

     During the activity, we witnessed the smooth start of the shield machine on the left line of the shield tunneling section of line 5 -- xujiapeng station (hereinafter referred to as the "three xu sections"), which was the last shield tunneling machine successfully started in this section.
     Three xu interval setting along the peace avenue, total length of 738 meters, is located in the Yangtze river Ⅰ level terrace, formation is rich in confined water, around the tunnel line the minimum line spacing of 3.7 meters, the most shallow buried tunnel covering 5.6 meters deep.
       Line 5, 5 blocks, a total of 3 station 4 interval, contains SanJiao Road station - between the xu tent station, the xu tent station, the xu tent - between Yang Yuan station, Yang Yuan stand over, Yang Yuan stand between over - head station, head over, head stand - between science park station, the main structure Yang Yuan station is completed, the xu tent, Yang Yuan - Yang Yuan stand over - head stand two interval has double penetration.
      Wuhan metro line 5 from the railway station to wuhan qing ling south third ring road station, 33.57 km, from the south third ring road, wuhan railway station, and through the Yangtze river line 2, line 4, more than 7 lines, line 8, transfer, the rail lines to line throughout the hongshan, wuchang and castle peak area, strengthen pak sha chau area, castle peak area and the city center. It has 25 stations, including 21 underground stations and 4 elevated stations.
      Line 5 runs through wuchang town from south to north. It is an important passenger transport corridor connecting the direction of shunjiang river. The roads around some stations are important support lines for the military transport association, which has attracted keen attention from citizens. By strengthening construction organization and schedule planning, and strictly controlling the process, we will make positive contributions to present a military transport conference with international vision, Chinese level and wuhan's responsibility to the world.
