Shield sections of line 4 and line 5 of Hefei metro are completed

       On April 29, the reporter learned from the hefei rail transit company that recently, the metro line 4 and line 5 ushered in new progress, in which the "tianshi" shield section of line 4 intersected with two lines, and the "liqing" shield section of line 5 intersected with the left line.

       On the morning of April 26, the right line of shield section from swan lake station to shitai road station of line 4 of rail transit was successfully completed. Thus, the shield section was successfully completed with two lines.

The construction of shield tunneling on the right line in this area started from the shitai road station and moved westward along qimen road to the swan lake station, with a total length of 860.523 meters. During this period, the shield tunneling machine repeatedly went through important municipal pipelines such as water supply pipe, sewage pipe and rain pipe, and went through major risk sources such as shiwuli river box culvert and buried hill road on the side, which posed great construction risks. Under the guidance of the municipal railway company, all the participating units have successfully completed the task goal of interval twin-line connection.

      At 17:00 on April 27, the left section of shield tunnel between lishui road station and qinghe road station of line 5 of rail transit was successfully completed, becoming the single-track tunnel of line 19 of line 5.

      The left section of the shield tunnel is 1747 meters long, which is the longest single-track tunnel of line 5. During the shield tunneling, the main strata that the shield tunneling machine passes through are clay and silty clay, and there are 13 major risk sources such as 1 artificial lake and 12 high-pressure iron towers on the side, which are of great construction and environmental risks. By overcoming many difficulties such as the transportation of muck and pipeline modification, the target task of the tunneling section of the shield was successfully completed.

      Up to now, 13 of the 31 stations on line 4 have completed the roof sealing of the main structure, and 30 shield tunneling machines have been lowered on the line, accounting for 25.5% of the total amount of shield tunneling projects. Line 5 has 22 stations, 1 open-cut section and 1 access section line. There are 33 shield tunneling machines on the line, and 28 shield tunneling machines have been put down, and 25 shield tunneling machines have been used for tunneling construction. The total number of shield tunneling projects has reached 43.4%.
