The construction of shield tunnel on line 1 of luoyang rail transit completed 98 percent of the total project amount

The construction of the second section of line 1 was jointly undertaken by the China railway tunnel bureau, China railway first bureau and China railway seventh bureau, which are affiliated to China railway group, according to the person in charge of the group. The total length of the section is 7 kilometers. All the six shield sections from east to west of lijingmen station of peony square station (excluding) have achieved double-line tunnel access. During the construction period, a total of 6 earth-pressure balance shield machines from "peony no. 13" to "peony no. 18" were put into operation.
Through jianxi district, xigong district and prosperous section of laocheng district, the jian tunneling zone in no. 2 bid zone presents complicated construction environment and complicated construction difficulty for water-rich sand and pebble formation. To this end, the construction unit took a number of measures, such as targeted adjustment and soil improvement, to ensure the smooth implementation of the project. In particular, the railway tunnel bureau undertook the task of crossing jianhe river, creating the "luoyang speed" of crossing jianhe river in 3 days, tunneling 28 circles in a single day, and completing the receiving and starting of the shield in 12 days.
It is understood that the tunnel construction of metro line 1, which is divided into three sections, has entered the final stage. At present, 98 percent of the total construction volume of the tunnel has been completed, and the length of the tunnel is more than 37 kilometers.
