Hefei rail transit line 5 "huanghua" shield section right line through

On the morning of July 22, the right line of shield tunnel between huanghe road station and huayuan avenue station of hefei rail transit line 5 was successfully completed, becoming the 32nd single-line tunnel of line 5.

The total length of the right line of the shield section is 651 meters, and the buried depth at the top of the tunnel is 9.60~16.89 meters. The shield tunneling machine started from the north end well of huanghe road station to the south end well of huayuan avenue station. During this period, the shield tunneling machine ran through important municipal pipelines such as gas and sewage for many times, which was difficult to construct.

Since the beginning of the construction of the shield section, the municipal railway group has led the participating units to successfully complete the node target of the right line of the shield section after two and a half months, in accordance with the requirements of "improving quality, speeding up and improving quality and efficiency" of the construction and overcoming the difficulties of muck and soil transportation.

There are 23 stations on line 5, 1 open-cut section and 1 access section line to complete the roof sealing of the main structure. There are 33 shield tunneling machines in the whole line. 27 shield tunneling machines have been used in the well, and 26 shield tunneling machines have been used for tunneling construction, which has completed 57.45% of the total shield tunneling works.
