The bukham tunnel on lalin railway was successfully completed
The railway from Lhasa to nyingchi was completed on the afternoon of August 2. This is another large tunnel of lalin railway with an altitude of over 3,000 meters successfully completed, marking another stage breakthrough in key and difficult projects.
Located in mirin county, nyingchi city, Tibet, the bukhamu tunnel has an average altitude of 3,100 meters, a total length of 9,240 meters and a maximum depth of 1,381 meters. It is understood that the construction process is faced with high ground stress, high ground temperature, water gushing mud, wind sand, toxic gas and other challenging problems, the project department research and development of the application of hydraulic smooth blasting and cumulative hydraulic smooth blasting technology, invented the application of intelligent spray dust removal device and other new technologies, new equipment, to ensure the safety, quality and efficient progress of the project.
According to the project director, the rockburst zone of bukhamu tunnel accounts for more than 90%, and it has occurred more than 3000 times during the construction process. The highest ground temperature in the tunnel reaches 42 degrees Celsius. During the construction period, in addition to the installation of fan and wind belt and other basic ventilation facilities, the "relay ventilation method" is also adopted to set up an oxygen transfer station every one kilometer, which better solves the construction problem of high temperature and hypoxia in the long tunnel in the plateau.
The bukham tunnel is the 37th of 47 connected tunnels on the larin railway. By the end of July this year, 95% of the construction of lalin railway tunnel has been completed, and the remaining 10 tunnels are expected to be completed by the end of this year.
