At the construction site, according to the introduction, the northern section of the track laying project is set with a track laying base in west sanzhuang. The total length of the track laying is 10.8 km, among which 2.66 km is the general track bed, 3.98 km is the medium one, 1.68 km is the high one, and 2.5 km is the special one. The project began laying tracks in November 2018, completed the "short track" on the left line on June 20, 2019, and completed the "short track" on the right line on July 9, 2019. After successfully completing the welding rail, polishing the rail joint and fine adjustment of the line in the last section, the "long rail" is officially realized today.

The timely realization of "rail access" has created favorable construction conditions for subsequent installation, signal, civil air defense and decoration of mechanical and electrical equipment, and laid a solid foundation for a series of follow-up work such as "hot slide", joint commissioning and trial operation. According to the current construction plan, the north section of the first phase of line 3 will be put into trial operation in the first half of 2020.

The first phase of shijiazhuang metro line 3 project is distributed in the central urban area. The project starts at the intersection of lianhe road and xisanzhuang street, and ends at the east second ring road. The total length of the line is 19.5 kilometers, with 17 stations, all of which are underground stations. The first phase of line 3 project is divided into two stages: "first open section" and "two side sections". Six stations in the first phase of the first phase of line 3 project were put into trial operation on June 26, 2017.
