The total length of the line is 3.8 kilometers, and the section of the cross river tunnel is about 2.7 kilometers long. The shield section of the tunnel has a total length of 1173 meters. It is a shield tunnel with a diameter of 14.5 meters with double tubes. Each tube section has a double-layer internal structure and a two-way layout of 8 lanes, among which, the upper layer has four lanes in both directions, east of longwu road to the west of puye road (planning), the lower layer has four lanes in both directions, east of jingdong road to the west of pujin road. The design speed of the main tunnel is 60km/h, and the design speed of the ramp entrance and exit is 40km/h.
The surface road project is divided into puxi section and pudong section, with a total length of 3108m. Puxi project scope: from the intersection of jingdong road in the west to the west bank wharf of huangpu river in the east, the total length is 1136m, and the red line width is 32~57.5m. Jingdong road ~ longwu road in puxi section of the ground road is the main trunk road (50km/h), longwu road ~ wangyue road is the secondary trunk road (40km/h), and wangyue road is the branch road (30km/h) to the east. The project scope of pudong section: from the east bank wharf of huangpu river in the west to the west side of pujin road intersection in the east, the total length is 1972m, and the width of the red line is 45~57m. Secondary trunk road (40km/h) lies to the west of puye road in pudong section. Puye road ~ pujin road is the main trunk road (50km/h). There are two new Bridges along the route, namely xinpu river bridge and pujiang river bridge.
Set up 2 centralized equipment rooms across the line, respectively with pudong puxi 2 work Wells. Two wind towers are set up on the whole line, respectively arranged in puxi pudong work well road. There are 4 rain water pumping stations and 4 waste water pumping stations. The housing of the management center is planned to be built in the land of the management center of xupu bridge.
In addition, at the node of longwu road, the two-way four lanes of the lower tunnel are excavated with the method of open-cut along the intersection of yindu road and through the longwu road, reserving space for future rail transit line 23 (tentative name) to pass through the lower tunnel of yindu road along the longwu road. Forward rail transit line 23 (tentative name) plans to set up yindu road station (tentative name, tentative plan) north of zhongyindu road, longwu road. At puye road node, the two-way four-lane open excavation method of the lower tunnel is adopted to go through the intersection of puye road along luheng road, leaving space for the comprehensive underground pipe corridor of puye road and the long-term rail transit line (pre-controlled channel scheme) to go through the lower tunnel of yindu road along puye road respectively.
