Wuhan metro line 8 jie ~ ma interval tunnel began to dig

On December 3, in the morning, wuhan metro line 8, street mouth station ~ ma fangshan station, left line No.2, shield tunneling machine cutter began to turn, marking the construction of wuhan metro line 8, the last tunnel officially began to dig. Between yaokou station and mafangshan station, it starts at the intersection of future city hotel on lousi road, extends southward along lousi road, and stops at the intersection of lousi road and hongda lane. The line is completely laid along lousi road.

The total length of the left line of the jie-ma section is 875.335 meters, and the buried depth of the tunnel is between 13.7 and 31.57 meters. The sections mainly pass through the strata of strongly weathered sandstone, strongly weathered mudstone, moderately weathered mudstone, and breezed mudstone, etc. During the tunneling process, the sections are prone to floating up and exceeding the limit.

In view of the problem of pipe segment floating up in the mudstone and sandstone strata, measures such as lowering the shield attitude and adjusting the initial setting time of synchronous grout were taken to effectively control the right tunneling of the project, which provided strong technical support for the construction of the left line. At present, a total of 173 rings of the right line between jiajiekou station and majangshan station have been excavated, and all the work has been on track. The double line is expected to be completed in March 2020.
