According to the introduction, chongqing rail transit line 5 river jump section of the control project - zhongliangshan tunnel connects dadukou district and jiulongpo district, and the existing huafu tunnel parallel across the zhongliangshan mountain vein, is a maximum depth of 215 meters, the full length of 3965 meters of single-hole dual-line tunnel.

The location of zhongliangshan tunnel belongs to the landform of erosion, denudation hills and low mountains, with large topographic undulations. It passes through many special bad surrounding rock geology such as coal seam, goaf, karst, fault, gas and gusher mud, etc. The surrounding rock grade of the tunnel changes frequently, and the complex geological structure and geographical conditions are described as "southwest geological museum" in the industry.

According to introducing, for pushing the construction, the construction unit set up the technical innovation work leading group, optimization of construction scheme, the introduction of BIM technology, set up in the tunnel structure seams of BIM model, the affiliated liangshan tunnels in BIM model, through the visualization technical clarificaiton and impact analysis, implements the project cost control and the process of safety construction, overall quality control.

At the same time, through planning in advance, using advanced drilling, geological radar and other ways to carry out advanced geological prediction, dynamic grasp of the geological reality of the tunnel, reasonable arrangement of tunneling work schedule, reduce the difficulty and risk caused by complex and harsh geological conditions.

It is understood that the extension of chongqing rail transit line 5 from the jumping off to jiangjin section at the jumping station, passing through huafu road, jiujiang avenue, north-south avenue, binjiang new city, a total length of 28.22 kilometers. With the completion of the zhongliangshan tunnel, a solid foundation has been laid for the completion and opening of the jiangtiao section of chongqing rail transit line 5.
