The latest development of the Shanghai Airport liaison line has been announced
The Shanghai Airport Link line has 9 stations, which adopt the national railway standard, with the design speed target of 160km/h, and adopts the laying method of viaduct, ground and underground, mainly underground. The project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in 2024, when the transit time between hongqiao and Pudong is expected to be less than 40 minutes.
The airport link is currently under construction in the western section, which is divided into four sections, of which the third and fourth sections are contracted by the Shanghai Tunnel. The working well of No.3 Meifu Road is 128m long, 30m deep and 14.07m in diameter. Shield tunneling is carried out to no. 2 air shaft and the piston air shaft of Hujing Station. At present, all the 58 underground diaphragm walls of Meifu Road working well have been poured and then the foundation pit has been excavated after foundation reinforcement. It is expected that the shield tunneling machine will be ready for assembly before November and will be completed by the end of this year.
The first underground diaphragm wall, 107.5m deep, has also been concreted. There are 321 underground diaphragm walls in Hujing Station, with a maximum depth of 107.5m and a maximum excavation depth of 44m. It is the largest and deepest subway station built or under construction in Shanghai so far.
