The bottom of the working well of Meifu Road, the airport liaison line of Shanghai Rail transit city line, has been completed

On November 19, the whole floor of Meifu Road working well, the target of JCXSG-3 of Shanghai Rail Transit City line Airport Link Project (West section), was completed, with the last load of concrete slowly pouring in.

The Working well of Meifu Road is the earliest starting point of the entire airport liaison line. It will be started on September 20, 2019 and will be the shield initiation well (including the first shield). The total length of the working well foundation pit in Meifu Road is 128.24 meters, with the maximum structural excavation depth of 36.65m, and the maximum structural excavation depth of the buried section 33.66m. A total of 88,363m was excavated from the foundation pit. As the soil of the floor is silty clay mixed with silty clay, the excavation risk is high, and the safety control is difficult, so the floor work will be poured in 5 times. The completion of floor pouring of the working well in Meifu Road will create favorable conditions for the later stage of shield tunneling.
