The first shield section of Chongqing Metro Line 4 phase 2 is double-lined

On November 25, the TBM section of the second phase of Chongqing Rail transit Line 4 from Gaoshikan station to Fusheng Station was completed. With the right line already connected, this is the first shield section with two lines connected in phase ii of Rail transit Line 4.

It is reported that the left line of the second phase of Chongqing Railway Line 4, from Gaoshikan station to Fusheng Station, is about 1.2 kilometers long. The geology is mudstone, sandstone, the formation water content is big, in the shield tunneling tool wear is big, the slag is easy to appear in the gushing.

According to the introduction, the shield is equipped with 44 hobs, according to the degree of wear, we have to check every half a month, and change, to ensure the smooth excavation face. With the completion of TBM section from Gaoshikan station to Fusheng Station, the two shield equipment will be transferred to wangjiacheng Station and Shengjibao station. It is expected that one shield equipment will start tunneling as soon as next month to further advance the construction of the second phase of Track Line 4. At present, the TBM section between Fusheng station and Wangjiasheng station has tunneling more than 600 meters and is expected to be completed by the end of December. Shield construction can solve the tunneling problems in a variety of geology, and the efficiency is about 2 ~ 3 times higher than the general manual excavation, drilling and blasting operations, and make the tunnel take shape once.
