On Jan. 3, technicians stepped up to assemble and weld the knife plates of shield tunneling machine in the hexi section of xiangya Road crossing channel project in Changsha.
Xiangya Road is the first two-way six-lane river-crossing tunnel in Changsha. It is also the largest shield tunnel under construction in Changsha with a diameter of 15.01 meters.
At present, the project has officially entered the stage of shield machine hoisting and downhole. It is expected that in March, the 4,000-ton "Xingsheng" shield tunneling machine will be completed assembly and commissioning, and the shield tunneling will begin from the west to the east of the Changsha River.
