The undersea tunnel between Dalian Metro Line 5 Railway Station and Baiyuwan South Station has been safely completed

On January 10, an undersea tunnel between Dalian Metro Line 5 Railway Station and Tuayuwan South Station was completed safely, marking China's success in overcoming the worldwide problem of large shield tunneling through Marine karst geology.

Dalian metro line 5, 24.484 km station 18, including all fronts the railway station of controlling engineering of large shield to barracuda bay south station interval long 2882 meters, 2310 meters down in dalian barracuda bay area, is the first international karst formation of shield tunnel, large domestic longest hard rock strata of shield tunnel, the largest diameter of the subway tunnel.
