The longest section of Wuhan Metro Line 16 has been completed

Shield tunneling machines in this area start from zhushan road station, underpass zhushan road comprehensive pipe corridor, side through chuanjiangchi bridge piles and underpass chuanjiangchi open channel, to receive chuanjiangchi station, the right line tunnel was first opened last week. After a interval of 6 days, along with the shield machine cutter head slowly rotating out of the earth, the left tunnel also smoothly through, marking the interval of two lines through.

The project department deploys the major risk sources in advance, formulates special technical plans and operation instructions, strengthens technical and safety training, and lays the foundation for the smooth progress of construction; In the construction process, the attitude of shield tunneling machine is adjusted in time according to different geology, and the tunneling parameters, slag output and grouting volume of shield tunneling machine are strictly controlled, which finally ensures the safe and stable realization of "zero error" accurate tunneling of shield tunneling machine.

Wuhan Metro Line 16, about 33.1 kilometers long, has 12 stations, five elevated stations and seven underground stations, according to Wuhan Metro Group. Up to now, the main structure of the 10 stations has been completed, and only 6 shield tunneling machines are in the underground simultaneously. The track laying length of the whole line reaches 23 kilometers, and the construction is progressing steadily.

Wuhan Metro Line 16 belongs to the urban express line, which connects Hannan, Junshan and the downtown area. It starts from Zhoujiahe Station in the south and ends at the National Expo Center in the north. There are 2 transfer stations in the whole line, transfer to Line 6 at Laoguancun Station, and transfer to Line 6 and Line 12 at Guobo Center South Station.
