Across the Xiangjiang River! Shield tunneling machine of Xiangya Road crossing river channel project startedv
On March 30, the project of xiangya road crossing river tunnel, invested by changsha chengfa group and contracted by China railway 14th bureau group, officially entered the shield construction stage. In the next nine months, the shield machine built in Changsha will swallow rocks and chew soil, cross the Xiangjiang River, and open another tunnel connecting the east and west sides of the river.
Xiangya River Crossing Channel connects Tongzi Road in Hexi and Xiangya Road in Hedong. It is the first two-way six-lane river-crossing tunnel in Changsha and the largest shield tunnel in diameter in Hunan Province at present. The tunnel has a total length of 4180 meters, in which the section crossing the Xiangjiang River is constructed by shield method, and the shield section is 1425 meters. Shield tunnel construction of Xiangya Road crossing the river is faced with such problems as complex surrounding environment and geological conditions, long distance rock tunneling and difficulty in starting. It also involves the crossing of ancient buildings, the Xiangjiang River embankment, the two crossing fault zones, the crossing of Metro Line 1, and the crossing and parallel of Metro Line 6, and other high difficulty risk sources.
In response to the complex situation, China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and China Railway 14th Engineering Bureau jointly developed a shield machine "Xingsheng", which weighs 4,100 tons, tailored for the project. This "steel dragon" is one of the most advanced super-large diameter mud-water balance shield tunneling machines in China, and its technical level is leading in the world. It reflects the energy and role of "big country heavy equipment" in construction and development, and highlights the leading level of Changsha in advanced equipment manufacturing industry.
This year's New Year's day, "Xingsheng" trolley down the well. In order to ensure the smooth launch of shield tunneling machine in March, the management personnel and workers of the project department stayed at their posts during the Spring Festival to catch up with the schedule. On February 21, the cutter head weighing 500 tons was successfully hoisted into the well, and then all the assembly and debugging work before the tunneling of the shield machine was successfully completed.
About 300 people will work on the project after it is officially started, and it will take about nine months to complete the operation. The entire Xiangya Road crossing is scheduled to be completed in 2023.
