The left line from Shunfan Road Station to Jinshajiang Road Station of Suzhou Rail Transit S1 has been fully connected

Suzhou Rail Transit Line S1 is a demonstration project of integrated infrastructure interconnection in Yangtze River Delta. Today (April 18), the left section of Suzhou Rail Transit Line S1 from Shunfan Road Station to Jinshajiang Road Station was completed.

At 10 a.m., at the underground construction site of the Shunfan Road Station of Suzhou Metro Line S1, the reporter saw the shield machine slowly rotating, accompanied by mud gushing, which also marked the completion of the left line of the S1 Shunfan Road Station to Jinshajiang Road Station. In the construction process of nearly 5 months, the line crosses the Kunshan Middle Ring Viaduct, and the deformation and displacement of the bridge pile foundation and the waterproofing are the difficult problems to be solved during the construction process.

Yong Jianming, deputy manager of the 09 standard project of Suzhou Rail Transit S1 of China Railway 20th Bureau, said that because the whole line runs through the Central Elevated Road, the submerged water and the slightly submerged water are connected, the water content is large and it is easy to leak, so the risk is relatively high. We strictly implement waterproof in the process of construction to ensure the quality of our construction. The completion of the left line also provides a strong guarantee for the track construction of the S1 line in July this year.

It is understood that the area between the right line will be completed by the end of July this year. Suzhou Rail Transit S1 has 58 single-line shield tunneling sections, and up to now, 11 sections have been connected. Suzhou Rail Transit Line S1, with a total length of 41.25 km, is the first urban rail transit line in Suzhou. The whole line starts from Weiting Station of Suzhou Industrial Park in the west and ends at Huaqiao Station of Kunshan. It connects with Shanghai Rail Transit Line 11. It is a demonstration project of the integrated infrastructure interconnection in the Yangtze River Delta. According to the plan, Suzhou Railway Line S1 will be put into trial operation by the end of 2023.
