"Hongpo" set a new domestic record for the daily diameter of large diameter shield

Recently, "Hongpu" super-large diameter mud-water balancing shield machine, independently developed and manufactured by CNCC and leased by China Railway Tunnel Bureau, has received one after another good news in Shanghai Metro Metro Airport Link Project 11 mark Skyling Road - Resort station. On November 5 and November 7, 15 and 16 rings (2 m/ring) of daily tunneling were achieved respectively, which successively broke the record for daily tunneling of large-diameter shield in China.

In this area, "Hongpu", a 14.04m super-diameter mud-water balanced shield tunneling machine independently developed by CNCC and constructed by China Railway Tunnel Bureau, has a total length of 4,721m. The tunnel construction needs to pass through important buildings such as operational rail transit, municipal highways, Bridges and rivers, which requires high precision of surface settlement control and environmental protection.

"Hongpu" large diameter shield machine is composed of cutter head, shield body and 4 vehicles. The whole machine is about 119 meters long and weighs more than 3,000 tons. It is equipped with advanced technologies such as automatic segment assembly, atmospheric pressure tool changing device and tool detection, and the localization rate is more than 98%. For the first time in Shanghai, the grouting system design with both single-liquid and double-liquid synchronous grouting was adopted, which greatly improved the adaptability, reliability and safety of the shield machine. It also protected the smooth implementation of the project, carried the brand power of "Tianhe Shield", and created a new height of similar equipment at home and abroad.

Since the equipment was sent, our technical service team has been in close communication with the construction side to "consult the pulse" of the possible problems in the driving process and formulate countermeasures to effectively reduce the failure rate and ensure the smooth and efficient driving of the equipment. During the excavation, the maximum weekly progress was 80 and the average monthly progress was 240, realizing the perfect combination of "a great country's heavy instrument" and "craftsman's spirit", ensuring that the 119-meter-long "Underground Dragon" continued to advance efficiently!

Shanghai Airport Link is an important east-west express channel in Shanghai railway network, and one of the 11 municipal railway demonstration lines determined by the National Development and Reform Commission in the first batch. It is a major project of the city. Scheduled to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2024, the airport will quickly connect Hongqiao International Airport with Pudong International Airport, enhance the function of Shanghai as a global core city, and accelerate the transportation integration process of the Yangtze River Delta.
