Shanghai Shentie Investment Co., Ltd. introduced that on the morning of November 11, when the airport link line 3 "Steed" shield machine was promoted to the 1572 ring, the cutter head cut into the projection surface of the rail transit line 5 bridge, and officially began to carry out the crossing work. Under the efficient and orderly organization, on the afternoon of November 12, when the 1583 ring propulsion was completed, the tail of the shield machine was successfully removed from the projection surface of the bridge of Line 5, marking the successful completion of the crossing of rail transit Line 5 by the "Steed Yue" shield machine.

The "Ji Yue" shield tunneling machine started in October 2021, with a total mileage of 2,845 loops. Up to now, Meifu Road pump station, 3# wind shaft crossing station and several high voltage towers crossing have been successfully completed. In this shield crossing, the "Ji Yue" shield tunneling machine is about 21 meters below the bottom of the Chunshentang River, crossing between the two piles of rail transit Line 5 across Chunshentang Bridge, and the closest distance to the level of bridge piles on both sides is about 13 meters.

In order to ensure the success of the crossing, the project team analyzed the influence of various parameters such as mud pressure, mud mass, propulsion speed, grouting volume and grouting pressure on the settlement of ground and bridge piles during shield tunneling, and took corresponding measures in advance to reduce soil settlement and ensure the operation safety of rail transit Line 5.

During the crossing process, Shanghai Shentie made overall arrangements, organized all parties involved in the construction and operation units to be on duty for 24 hours, recorded various construction parameters and settlement monitoring data, adopted the combination of manual monitoring and automatic monitoring, observed the deformation of the bridge in real time, and reported the crossing situation regularly every day. The on-site emergency team and emergency equipment and materials were fully prepared. Finally, the "Ji Yue" shield machine successfully completed the crossing, without affecting the normal operation of rail transit.
