More than half of the tunnels in the west extension of Qingdao Metro Line 2 have been completed

On January 27, the 660-meter-long west extension of Qingdao Metro Line 2, Xiaogang Station and International Cruise Port station, the right line of the TBM successfully through, so that the whole line (double line) of the six TBM section of the tunnel.

In order to ensure that the overall goal of 2023 is achieved, the First construction Branch of Qingdao Metro adopts the measures of not stopping work during the Spring Festival holiday, takes team construction as the core of work to promote the improvement of project management level, assign personnel and posts, and strive to ensure the uninterrupted construction of TBM, laying a solid foundation for the early completion of the whole line.

At present, the cumulative excavation of the west extension line of Line 2 has completed 3920 meters, 72% of the total amount. The First construction branch will earnestly summarize the experience of TBM construction management, focus on the group's "double first-class" target system, polish the brand of "One Construction Tiejun", strictly grasp the safety and quality management, and make every effort to ensure the synchronous promotion of two TBM, in order to complete the annual construction task and realize the goal of the whole line through as soon as possible.
