Construction of the initial shield well of the high-speed railway Haihe Tunnel between Tianjin and Wei-wei began

Recently, construction of the shield starting well of the Haihe Tunnel of the Tianjin section of the Jinjin-wei-High Railway began. All three construction marks of the main line project of the Tianjin Section of the Jinjin-Weigao Railway have been entered and the construction is being accelerated. The project is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2027.

According to reports, the Jinhai-Weifang high-speed Railway starts from Tianjin Binhai Station and ends in Weifang North Station of Ji-Qing high-speed railway, passing through Tianjin Binhai New Area, Cangzhou of Hebei, Dongying and Weifang of Shandong and other places. The newly built normal line has a length of 348.2 km and 60.1 km in Tianjin. It is an important part of the "eight vertical and eight horizontal" Beijing-Shanghai auxiliary channel and coastal channel. Haihe Tunnel is one of the key control projects of the entire high-speed railway line between Tianjin and Weichai, and the construction schedule directly affects the opening time. After the completion of the starting well, a mud-water balanced shield tunneling machine will be put into excavation, and the tunnel with an outer diameter of 13.8 meters and a length of 6660 meters will be excavated successively through Dagu Drainage River, Southwest Ring Railway, Jingu first line overpass, Central Avenue overpass, Haihe River, and finally through Binhai Station, which will serve as the main line traffic passage of the high-speed railway between Tianjin and Weifang.
