Shenzhen Metro Line 8 Phase II hot slip test completed

Recently, Shenzhen Metro Line 8 phase II Honganwei station successfully completed the hot slip test, marking that the station has the conditions for the operation of electric buses, a key step for the trial operation of the entire line within the year.

According to reports, the thermal slip test is a comprehensive inspection of the operating stability and linkage of the power supply system, catenary system, communication system, signal system, vehicle system and track system to confirm whether the cooperation between the vehicle and the catenary system, and the vehicle and track system has the operating conditions. Shenzhen Metro Line 8 phase II has hot slip conditions, has begun to promote the joint commissioning of communication, signal and other systems, and has now completed about 43% of the workload, is accelerating into the high-speed train joint commissioning and trial operation preparation stage.

As an important transportation artery of Shenzhen's "eastward strategy", the second phase of Line 8 will be connected with the third phase of Metro Line 2 and the first phase of Metro Line 8, which will not only effectively serve the commuter flow of Luohu and Yatian, but also enable citizens to take the subway directly to Meisha, realizing the dream of "taking the subway to see the sea".
