The tunnel between Changcun Station and Xinlongze Station after the expansion and upgrading project of Beijing Metro Line 13 has been completed today (August 15), which is also the first tunnel section of Line 13. At present, the construction of the main structure of the new section of the expansion and upgrading project of Line 13 has entered the full sprint stage.

On the morning of August 15, at the construction site of Houchang Village Station, the shield tunneling machine that had just completed the tunnel digging had been firmly stopped in the receiving well. This "big guy" will be transferred after the completion of dismantling and continue to carry out shield construction between the back factory village and the software Park.

The expansion and upgrading project of Line 13 is the largest existing railway renovation project in China. In the existing line 13 Xierqi - Longze - Huilongguan station section, the whole line has 19 new stations, about 29 kilometers of new lines, about 34 kilometers of reformed lines, and about 22 kilometers of sound barriers.

The existing Line 13 inverted "U" shaped line will be divided by technical means such as line renovation, and an "X" shaped east and west horizontal line will be built between Line 16 and Line 17, respectively from Chegongzhuang to the east of Tiantongyuan through Xizhimen and Xinlongze, connecting the western section of the existing Line 13 and Tiantongyuan and Huilongguan areas; From Malianwa Station on Line 16 of Haidian District, via Xinlongze to Dongzhimen Station, connect Shangdi Software Park, Huilongguan, Tiantongyuan and the eastern section of Line 13.

After the split, the two lines have the conditions of interconnection, and the cross-line operation conditions are reserved, which can realize the cross-line organization and operation.

According to reports, the tunnel through the Changping, Haidian two districts, construction along the underground pipeline, the construction environment is complex. Since its inception in October last year, the two shield machines in the long distance through the Beijing-new high-speed ramp, Houchang Village Road and other risk sources in the process, the maximum settlement data are controlled within 2 mm, there is no deformation of the road surface, and the vehicle traffic above is not affected.

According to reports, after the completion of the separation of the expansion and upgrading project of Line 13, it will effectively solve the problems of poor train return conditions at Xizhimen terminal station, unable to shorten the departure interval, and crowded carriages on Line 13. Establish convenient travel conditions between Huilongguan Tiantongyuan area in Changping District and Haidian Software Park area, focus on strengthening the connection between large residential groups in the north and employment concentration areas such as Shangdi Software Park and Zhongguancun, greatly shorten the travel time between regions, and improve the travel efficiency of citizens along the line. At the same time, it will further improve the rail transit network in the northern region and improve the level of rail transit service.

According to reports, the expansion and improvement project of Line 13 is a demonstration line of "smart site" of Beijing rail transit, and the management system of "smart site" is used in the whole process of construction to collect, transmit, analyze and process all kinds of front-end data on the construction site. Intelligent analysis and risk monitoring systems such as excavation displacement and settlement warning, water level observation, vehicle speed management, vibration cable alarm of enclosure and excavation perimeter, and image smoke fire alarm are integrated in the research and development. The intelligent means are used to effectively improve the safety and quality management level of the construction site and ensure that the construction and production are always in a safe and quality controllable state.
