Wuhan Rail Transit Line 12 project Banqiao parking lot construction started

Recently, the commencement ceremony of the Banqiao parking lot project of Wuhan Metro Line 12 was successfully held in the Mahu New village plot in Hongshan District, and the construction of library test piles began at the same time. Banqiao Parking Lot is the first construction project of Line 12 B package (including Danshui car depot, Banqiao parking lot, Fuxing Village parking lot and vehicle, equipment procurement and installation of the whole line), and the construction of the project is a milestone.

Banqiao Parking lot is located south of Nanhu Avenue, east of Li Paper Road and north of Banqiao Middle School. The land is 350m wide from east to west, 1130m long from north to south, and covers an area of about 24 hectares. There are 9 building units in the parking lot, including application warehouse, washing garage, engineering garage, comprehensive building, dormitory building, mixed substation, sewage treatment station and doorman (2). A public security police station is built on the south side of the site.

Subsequently, the joint Stock Company will closely cooperate with the participating parties to carry out the construction work scientifically, and complete the Pangqiao parking lot construction task effectively, orderly, high-quality and efficient.

Wuhan Metro Line 12 is the first circular subway line in Wuhan, with a total length of 59.9 kilometers and 37 stations. After the completion of Line 12, it will effectively alleviate the pressure of passenger flow in the central area of the city, enhance the attraction of passenger flow in the ring line, realize the "three towns with the same ring", accelerate the construction of urban key development areas, and improve the urban comprehensive transportation system.
