On November 14, with the completion of the last piece of roof concrete pouring, the main structure of the tunnel of the 341 provincial highway Yixing Section 3 standard project has been completed, marking the longest domestic trunk highway under construction lakeshore tunnel - Zhushan Lake tunnel through the whole line.

The starting point of Wuxi Mashan to Yixing Zhou railway section of 341 Provincial Highway is located in Zhoutie Town, Yixing City. It passes through Zhushan Lake in the form of a tunnel and connects with s230 Ring Taihu Road. The total length of the route is about 15.7 kilometers, of which, Zhushan Lake tunnel has a total length of 7.81 kilometers, which is a control node project of the whole line.

The main line of 341 Provincial Highway Yixing Section 3 standard project has a total length of 4.48 kilometers, and is built according to the two-way six-lane first-class highway standard with a design speed of 100 kilometers per hour. Among them, the 4.07km Yixing section of Zhushanhu Tunnel is constructed by cofferdam excavation method and closed with adjacent sections in Changzhou.

According to reports, the maximum cofferdam section width of the tunnel project is 228 meters, the maximum excavation width of the foundation pit is 155 meters, the main structure section width is 44 meters, the maximum generous amount of single concrete pouring is 2400 cubic meters, set ultra-long ultra-wide deep foundation pit excavation, a variety of support forms construction in one, the construction area is located in the economically developed southern Jiangsu region, the surrounding tourism resources are rich, Especially through the Taihu Lake region, the construction scale, safety risks, high technical and environmental protection requirements. The project team increased technological innovation, optimized the construction plan, and changed the traditional "four-bin water circulation-moving island weir method" to "multi-bin water circulation-moving island weir method", which realized the one-time completion of the cofferdam construction of Zhushanhu Tunnel, and the one-time and synchronous start of the lake section, greatly increased the working face, and won 12 months valuable time for the project to complete the construction ahead of schedule. At the same time, it fills the gap in the construction of the ultra-long foundation pit of the domestic water cofferdam.

Up to now, the project has completed 95.5% of the contract amount, and the construction has entered the final sprint stage, which is expected to be officially completed by the end of the year.
