Shanghai Chongqi Railway Bridge on the Yangtze River has made significant progress
Chongming District Information Office introduced that at 14:00 on May 26, after 20 consecutive hours of construction, the first column of the No. 3 and No. 4 main tower pier of Chongqi Railway Yangtze River Bridge was successfully poured, marking the major progress of the construction of the V standard Chongqi Railway Yangtze River Bridge in front of the Huning section of the Shanghai-Chongqing high-speed Railway station.
Chongqi Railway Yangtze River Bridge is a high-speed railway control node project from Shanghai to Nanjing to Hefei, with a total length of 4.09 kilometers, across the Yangtze River to Haikou North branch channel. Its structure is a double-deck arrangement of dual-purpose bridge, the upper level is a two-way 6-lane, 100 km/h road, the lower level is a 350 km/h dual-line high-speed railway + 250 km/h dual-line intercity railway. Among them, the main navigable pass bridge is the 400-meter-long steel-string-combined cable-stayed bridge with two towers and two cable planes, which is the world's largest span two-tower and two-cable plane ballastless track cable-stayed bridge.
The main tower No. 3 and No. 4 of the main bridge adopt the same structural arrangement and are vases shaped concrete towers, which are composed of 6 parts: tower tower, lower tower column, middle tower column, upper tower column, lower beam and upper beam. The total height of the main tower is 153 meters, and the tower columns on both sides are poured 27 times each, with a total concrete of 17,440.5 cubic meters. The first column and tower of Pier No. 3 and No. 4 were poured at the same time. The single tower is 2.5 meters high, 22 meters long and 18.5 meters wide, and the tower column is 3 meters high, 12 meters long and 11 meters wide, with 2406.5 cubic meters of concrete. It is planned to complete the lower beam of the tower column within this year.
During the golden period of construction, in order to ensure the smooth progress of the pouring work, the project Department organized experts to discuss and formulate concrete pouring plans for many times, and communicated the concrete pouring process in advance. During the construction process, a total of about 12 concrete mixing trucks and 4 automobile pumps were put into the north and south banks to maintain a continuous and uninterrupted supply of concrete. The construction strategy of "double point pouring, synchronous advance, layered pouring, step by step vibration" is adopted to ensure smooth construction. From the end of March to now, the No. 3 and No. 4 main tower has been carried out simultaneously, and the three-layer concrete pouring of the main tower cap area has been successfully completed, and the construction progress has been promoted on time under the premise of ensuring the construction safety and quality.
The Shanghai-Nanjing to Hefei high-speed railway is the eastern section of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu high-speed railway and an important part of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway network along the Yangtze River high-speed rail channel, which undertakes the transport of the main network passenger flow along the Yangtze River channel and the coastal and Beijing-Shanghai channel parts through to Shanghai passenger flow. After the completion of the project, a new fast channel will be built between the Shanghai metropolitan area, the Nanjing metropolitan area and the Hefei metropolitan area, which is of great significance for optimizing the railway network layout along the Yangtze River region, serving the coordinated development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, and promoting the high-quality integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta.
