Chongqing rail Transit Line 27 cross-river tunnel through

On November 25, "the first rail tunnel in the Upper reaches of the Yangtze River", the whole section of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 27 cross-river tunnel was accurately connected.

The cross-river tunnel is an important control node of Chongqing rail Transit Line 27. The technical team has overcome technical problems such as the safe initiation of ultra-deep shaft, the fracture zone of the deep trough at the bottom of the river, the development of fissure water, and high water pressure sealing tunneling, filling the gap in this field of the cross-river tunnel in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River.

The cross-river tunnel connects the core areas of Chongqing Yuzhong and the South Bank. The tunnel crosses from the bottom of the river, and the depth of the shield shaft is 83 meters, which is the deepest of the shield shaft in the field of rail transit in China.

With a total length of 56 kilometers, Chongqing Rail Transit Line 27 crosses the three major east-west trudging valleys of Chongqing metropolitan area, with a design speed of 140 kilometers per hour, connecting Chongqing's important gateway hubs in series in the form of express lines, including three railway passenger stations (Chongqing East Station, Chongqing Station, Shapingba Station) and three business districts (Nanping, Daping, Shapingba). The whole line has 15 stations, realizing the rapid transformation of traffic inside and outside the city, improving the efficiency of rail transit, and connecting the two ends of the line with the urban (suburban) railway operation, which will greatly relieve the east-west passenger flow pressure of Chongqing rail network after completion.
