The 14m-class super-large diameter mud-water balanced shield, independently developed by Shanghai Tunnel Engineering Co., LTD, is used for the construction of Shanghai Municipal Airport's liaison line. With a total length of about 92m, the shield can meet the tunneling requirements of the minimum horizontal curve radius of 450m. The rear part is equipped with a 3-section integrated frame, which adopts the design of landing wheel, which can deal with many complicated working conditions such as deep burial depth and small turning radius. -
