On April 13, the 3970-meter shield tunnel between changlong station and panyu avenue station was successfully completed. This is the first major node of the project since it fully resumed work after the COVID 19 outbreak, and construction of this section of the tunnel is 97% complete.

Recently, "hongrun 22" shield tunneling machine broke through the shield well at chencun north railway station, marking the smooth completion of the left line tunnel between guangzhou south railway station and chencun north railway station in the west extension of guangzhou metro line 7. On December 19, 2019, "hongrun 23" had successfully completed the construction of the right-line tunnel. Since then, the tunnel between guangzhou south railway station and chencun north railway station in the west extension of line 7 has been connected by two lines.

Recently, the construction of hefei rail transit line 4 has made new progress. On December 24, the left line of fenglehe road station and yulan avenue station was connected, which became the 36th single-line tunnel of line 4. On December 30, the double-line shield tunneling machine from science avenue station to qimen road station passed through hewu railway and hefu high-speed railway.

On December 20, with the completion of the laying of the last pair of tracks on the left side of the water park station to nuo wo mulle station, the first phase of the Hohhot urban mass transit line 2 project under the general contract of China railway construction group and the construction of China railway 16th bureau group was completed.
